The Bacolod Reclamation and Port Development involves the reclamation of at least 250 hectares of land along the foreshore area of Bacolod City and the establishment of port and harbor facilities. The project components consist of the establishment of the Port Zone, the economic Zone, complex and a Central Business District. The project is being undertaken by the Bacolod Real Estate Development Corporation (BREDCO) and the city of Bacolod under the supervision of the Public Estates Authority and the Philippine Ports Authority.
 
Bacolod Harbor Center, the port component, is a new massive development undertaking in Western Visayas region. The establishment of at least 2,000 lineal meters of berthing facilities with a draft of 8 to 12 meters along a protected basin is major features of the port zone covering some 47hectares of land area. Some 130 hectares of land are slowly being reclaimed with an additional undertaking of at least 300 hectares for commercial and industrial land uses.
